"Violence never solved anything" is an ignorant and foolish statement. Just ask Noah, Abraham, Moses, Gideon, or David. Violence solved a lot of problems for them.
Violence is a tool, like diplomacy. You can't use a hammer for every carpentry task, and you can't use words to resolve every conflict. Sometimes heads must be broken.
Genesis 6:12 says "All flesh had corrupted their way on the earth." Do animals have moral agency? Or were they just irredeemably corrupted by their contact with humanity?
How was it possible that only one man, out of all the millions that must have been on the earth, remained righteous? You've heard the axiom that "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch"? What would happen to you if you were the only good apple among millions of rotten ones? Yet Noah kept the faith. Your community contributes to your righteousness. It can elevate you or drag you down. Choose your friends and guard your time carefully.
When God hides His face, we are at the mercy of the elements and spirits of the world. God often uses nature as a blacksmith and forge to refine and shape us. Judgment is painful, but don't fear it. Fear God instead. Work with his correction, not against it.

The Pastoral office as defined in our western world is not the Biblical model, but rather man made which is a distortion of gifting. The Ekklesia were lead only by Messiah where his body is recognized by men who were all of equal standing. Everyone in the body was recognized by their spiritual maturity and not by their hierarchical elitism.
The dichotomy between what is “sacred” and what is “worldly” is a pagan conception and not the mindset of the Ekklesia. In the Kingdom of Elohim, ordained spiritual elitism has no foundation since every believer has the discernment from God to recognize those who have particular giftings that God has given them. Among the early Ekklesia, the word “ordain” did not mean to be put into an official title, but rather it was an affirmation of the gifting and character of an individual that is recognized.

The names of Noah's three sons aren't accidental.
-Shem means "name". Maybe because Shem would convey the Name (aka reputation, character) of YHWH to the rest of the world?
-Ham means "hot". Was this because Ham and his descendants were impetuous, sensual, and hot tempered? Or just because they mostly lived closer to the equator?
-Japhet means "expanded" because he multiplied and covered more of the Earth than his brothers and eventually dominated them politically and militarily.

Psalm 9: 18 — 20, “Those who have troubles will not be forgotten. The hopes of the poor will not die. Lord, rise up and judge the nations. Don’t let humans think they are strong. Teach them to fear you, Lord. The nations must learn that they are only human.” (ICB) This ending of David’s song reminds us that we are only human, and our hope is to love, respect and fear our Creator.
Don’t dabble in it. Don’t do it for the kids. Don’t keep one and get rid of the others. It’s all pagan tradition. Who cares where it comes from? Who cares if it’s different than it once was? Who cares if it’s not as bad as something else?
It’s pagan. If you are trying to be pagan then carry on…If not then walk away. All the way.
YHWH has given you many great things to celebrate. Things that actually honor Him and give Him due glory and praise. Why would you want to choose pagan things over His things? And yes it is choosing theirs over His. You can’t have both.
Either own the holidays as pagan and yourself as pagan too or else surrender them all to Yeshua and follow Him in celebrating the Holidays of YHWH.
