The prayers and alms of a righteous man are very similar to peace offerings. God hears the prayers of a right-hearted man even if he does not know about Yeshua.

It's not wise to offend powerful people. Even if you know somebody is wrong, keep your mouth shut if there's nothing you can do about it and be circumspect in your speech if you can.
There are a bunch of parallels between this Torah portion ( #toldot, Gen 25:19-28:9) and the story of Samson.
-Isaac and Manoah pray for a son.
-An angel of YHWH visited mothers of Jacob and Samson to announce their conceptions.
-Isaac 40 yrs old at marriage. Philistines oppressed Israel 40 yrs.
-Philistines took Isaac's and Samson's wives.
-Philistines destroyed Isaac's well. Samson destroyed Philistine crops.
-Isaac de-escalates conflict. Samson escalates it.
-Esau and Samson are hairy.
-Isaac and Samson are blinded.
-Isaac means laughter. The Philistines laughed at Samson.
-Isaac and Samson both reach out to touch something.
You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness. Exodus 23:1
