Though the term “God” is as inaccurate and unacceptable as possible, Mr. Case is as yet unaware of that fact, and we won’t harp too much on that. (Let it be noted that though many don't know about the pagan origins of "God" and even fewer folk take the time to study the matter, we don't accept it as proper for the MostHigh and do not use it ourselves to speak of Him. That said, if you don't yet know, then you don't yet know and we aren't here to hit anyone over the head for it. We do encourage everyone to start questioning it's unquestioned acceptance, however. We can do no more than this.)
That caveat accounted for, this podcast is an important step for a Christian translator to take in returning the Sacred Name back to where it belongs in the Text.

Who comes to mind when we think about those who oppose the will of God? Everyone has a list of the usual suspects: atheists, satanists, occultists, criminals, people of other religions, and quite possibly people with different political views. However, before we cast blame outward, we might want to look inward and see if the greatest opposition to God’s plans originates in our own hearts.

1 Samuel 2:8, “He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them.” This verse is often used by those who promote a flat earth, however when the previous verses are read it is very easy to realize it is speaking about people and not the earth itself. Today we use the word earth and world interchangeably but this is the first time the word “world” is used in the Bible and is used to describe everyone who had ever lived or ever will live.
