WORD FOR TODAY “is our justice system like this”: Deu 16:19 "You shall not distort justice; you shall not be partial, and you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

SPOKEN VERSE FOR TODAY: Pro 9:17 "Stolen water is sweet; food eaten in secret is pleasant." Pro 9:18 But he doesn't realize that the dead are there, and that those who accept her invitation are in the depths of Sh'ol.

“Faith comes by hearing” positive frequencies spoken out loud hourly.

According to the Torah:
To have "justice," you first must have a venue to establish it - courts and judges. To have courts and justices, you first must have a Torah-observant community in which to establish them. Doing both of these is a commandment of YHWH.
Do you have these things? If you do not, you will never have justice and are not Torah-observant - you are in violation of the commands of YHWH.

Have you ever been taught that the purpose of tithing is to support the Levites and priests? While it’s true that tithes were given to the priests, that’s not the whole story. The first mention of tithing is in Genesis 14:20, where Abram gives a tithe to Melchizedek, the priest of God. Later, in Leviticus, God formalizes this practice as part of His covenant with Israel, ensuring provision for His priests.

But recently, while reading Deuteronomy, a verse stood out to me that I had never truly noticed before. In Deuteronomy 14:23, God reveals the deeper purpose behind tithing: “…that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always.”

Did you catch that? The primary reason for tithing is to teach us to fear the Lord. And as Proverbs tells us, the fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and life. So, when we tithe, it's not just an act of giving—it's a way to align our hearts with God’s wisdom and deepen our reverence for Him, unlocking the blessings of understanding and life.

It depends what tithe. The Torah specifies what each offering and tithe is for. The only tithe not applicable today is the Levitical tithe. This is the one where ministries twist the scriptures to steal that tithe from people.
Especially those guys who claim to go into full-time Ministry and expect to live off the people as if they were Levites.
All other offerings we Hebrews are supposed to give today. However, most Hebrews dont.

Emunah (אֱמוּנָה) is more than just faith—it's a deep, unwavering trust in God's faithfulness. It’s about living with confidence that God’s promises are true, even when the road is tough. ? In a world of uncertainty, emunah invites us to anchor our lives in the reliability of God’s character. Let’s embrace this steadfast faith and walk with the assurance that we are supported by a love that never fails. #emunah #faith #trustingod #spiritualjourney #hebrewwisdom

"beloved city"

In Rev. 20:9 we read:

"And they went out over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."

My assumption, till a few months back, was that the "beloved city" talks about the existing Jerusalem. Reading Revelation a bit more open minded, I am leaning more to it not being the current Jerusalem as this city is called "Sodom" and "Egypt" in Revelation 11:8 as we read "And their dead bodies will lie exposed in the open street of the great city (Jerusalem), which in a spiritual sense is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified."

Only in Rev. 21 do we see the New Jerusalem come down out of heaven, so it can't be that city either.

What is your understanding of the "beloved city" in Revelation 20?

But should we consider a different city beloved because our beloved city is called Sodom and Babylon? Jerusalem has always been the beloved city. But it is not always a Sodom or a Babylon. It’s pretty much a Sodom now. Babylon has essentially conquered Jerusalem even at this point. Never the less Yeshua still calls her beloved.

I don’t think the Babylon mentioned in Revelation is talking about Jerusalem. Revelation calls this “Babylon” the “mother of harlots”. I don’t honestly see any other Scripture that indicts Jerusalem is the mother of harlots. Yes she is called a harlot during the time of exile, but not going so far as to say she is where all harlots began.

I also agree with Caleb that the city is still beloved of God even when it’s in times of discipline. Yeshua wept over the city even though he would be crucified in it later.

I think the reference to Babylon goes all the way back to Nimrod where most pagan traditions and rituals have their origin. Thus the “mother of harlots” reference.

Universities, entertainers, and HR departments relentlessly push the bizarre madness of "social justice". There are daily riots and political demonstrations in favor of it. Black Lives Matter riots, gay pride parades, women's rights marches….

Everyone is talking about justice, but does anyone know what it is?

Proverbs 28:4-5 tells how anyone can fully comprehend justice.

Shoftim is Hebrew for "judges". This week's Torah portion begins by instructing the people to appoint qualified, godly people as civil judges and leaders.

Here are some Apostolic passages to study alongside #torah Parsha #shoftim (Deuteronomy 16:18-21:9), with corresponding videos and commentary: https://www.americantorah.com/....2021/03/23/parsha-sh

Deuteronomy 30:11-19

For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not hidden from you, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?’ Neither is it beyond the sea, that you shouldsay, ‘Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?’ But the word is very near unto you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it. See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command you this day to love YHWH your Elohim, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply: and YHWH your Elohim shall bless you in the land where you go to possess it. But if your heart turns away, so that you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship other elohim, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that you shall surely perish, and that you shall not prolong your days upon the land, where you pass over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and blessing, death and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live.

The commandments of YHWH aren’t far off, hidden or hard to do. They were given to us to give us life and blessing, to prolong our days, to give us good and not harm and help us to love YHWH.

How could the commandments ever be too hard for us to do?
