For all of you masculine men in here, how many of you have/had or would want a man cave? Size doesn't matter it could be a closet or a bunker, just needs to be a place were you retreat to that contains all of your man stuff.

For the haves and wants, what is or would be the desired theme of your man cave and are you still expanding it?

What do/would you display?

I don't have one and would need a double garage sized area for everything I need to get out of the way of my family already. ?

For me it is more about a space to build stuff as opposed to a place where I can relax as I do like having my family around me when I take time off.

So, space for my IT kit and all the DIY stuff that is currently in the Wendy house... Maybe an area setup for video recording with a proper backdrop.

A proper large braai/BBQ porch would be needed for the relax part. ?

In scripture, "eating meat sacrificed to idols" is usually shorthand for participating in the sacrifice itself because eating the meat is part of what makes the ritual effective. See 1 Corinthians 10:18, for example. The meat of a pagan sacrifice has no real power if you are not participating in the sacrifice, and neither does the idol itself have any power. Not even the demons that use such idols have power over a believer who is not engaged in sinful behavior.

Do not participate in pagan rituals, because they are done to honor demons, not God. You cannot honor God and demons at the same time. You cannot participate in pagan rituals and expect your worship of God to be undefiled. God doesn't want people to participate in idolatry nor in its rituals, whether those things have any power of their own or not.

Are All Things Truly Lawful? - American Torah

Did Paul teach that all things are lawful for Christians? Or were his instructions to the 1 Corinthians limited by context?

Corner Fringe Ministries Dixon, 1552 US Rt 52, Dixon, IL 61021
May 18th @3PM

Join us for a special worship service at Corner Fringe Ministries Dixon on May 18 at 3:00 PM. This week, we are honored to welcome Pastor Daniel Joseph of Corner Fringe Ministries, Coon Rapids, MN, as our guest speaker. Pastor Daniel will delve into the Hebrew word "Chesed," offering insights from a Hebrew perspective and explaining what it means to experience and live out Chesed in our daily lives.

We would love to get to know you better! Plan to join us for our fellowship meal we call The Oneg, immediately following the service. This week's theme is sloppy joes. If you would like to bring something to share, please remember we honor God's food laws (no pork, shellfish, etc.). If you can't bring something, then stay anyway—we have plenty to share.

Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding, enrich your faith, and enjoy some wonderful fellowship.

For any questions, please contact Mike Sutcliffe at 708-785-6304 or reach out to us on Messenger. We look forward to worshiping with you!

Hey everyone,

I wanted to personally invite you to a special worship service at Corner Fringe Ministries Dixon on May 18 at 3:00 PM. We have an amazing opportunity to hear from Pastor Daniel Joseph from Corner Fringe Ministries in Coon Rapids, MN. Daniel has a unique gift for bringing God's Word to life, and he'll be sharing insights on the Hebrew word "Chesed" and how we can experience and live out this beautiful concept of compassion and loving-kindness.

After the service, stick around for some great fellowship at our Oneg meal, where the theme is sloppy joes! If you'd like to bring something to share, that's awesome—just remember we honor God's food laws (no pork, shellfish, etc.). And if you can't bring anything, no worries at all—there will be plenty to go around.

I really hope you can make it. This is going to be a wonderful time of worship, learning, and community. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mike Sutcliffe at 708-785-6304 or reach out to us on Messenger.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Some people keep #shavuot (aka #pentecost or the Feast of Weeks) on one day, some on another. Are some of those people simply rejecting the plain words of God?

#leviticus 23:9-22 contains a #chiasm centered on a parallelism in the Feast of Weeks (aka #shavuot):

A - v9-10 - YHWH told Moses to tell the Israelites
-- B - V10 - Beginning of harvest, give to priests.
---- C - V11-14 - Early Firstfruits. Wave offering. Lamb. Flour & oil. Drink offering. No new grain until offering done. Eternal statute in your dwellings.
------ Da - V15 - Count 7 weeks
-------- Db - From day after Sabbath
---------- Dc - From day you bring wave offering
------ Da' - V16 - Count 50 days
-------- Db' - To day after 7th Sabbath
---------- Dc' - Grain offering to YHWH
---- C' - V17-21 - Latter Firstfruits. Wave offering. Flour & leaven. Lambs, bull, rams as burnt offerings. Drink offering. Sin & peace offerings. Holy convocation. No work. An eternal statute in your dwellings.
-- B' - V22 - End of harvest, leave the corners and gleanings for poor and sojourners.
A' - I am YHWH, your God.
