There is much reason to hope, as David Nekrutman explains. Concerted efforts from both sides at building Christian-Jewish relations has resulted in a world-changing support for Israel among Christians worldwide. In this concluding part of our conversation, David offers ideas for how to build on this momentum.

In fact, it’s a matter of the heart change that God promises in the New (or Renewed) Covenant that He is making with Israel and those who attach themselves to Israel. Malachi 3:13—15, ““Your words against Me have been harsh,” says the LORD. “Yet you ask, ‘What have we spoken against You?’ You have said, ‘It is futile to serve God. What have we gained by keeping His requirements and walking mournfully before the LORD of Hosts? So now we call the arrogant blessed. Not only do evildoers prosper, they even test God and escape.’ ” This certainly reads like it is written for the world we live in today and it sounds depressing but there is always hope. The next verse is a promise, “At that time those who feared the LORD spoke with one another, and the LORD listened and heard them. So a scroll of remembrance was written before Him regarding those who feared the LORD and honored His name.”
If the ruler of your country did the following, what would your thoughts be:
1. Forced you to pay higher than usual taxes to build up the state's coffers.
2. Bought up all the land during a financial collapse so that all the land became state owned.
3. Bought up all the people and made them work for the state.
4. Moved all the people to cities so that they could be better controlled.
5. Sold the food that was gathered with the higher taxes back to the people.

Abba, I believe Your Word, which tells me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am one of Your works and Your works are marvellous. I thank You that my substance was not hid from You when You made me in secret. Your eyes did see my unformed substance and in Your book all my members were written as You fashioned me with Your hands. Thank You for these precious truths Abba. Does anyone here know of any Torah communities here in the U.S.A.? My hubby and I will be traveling West from VA in January. We would like to visit communities and home groups as we go. We are musicians who love to praise God and it would be a delight to fellowship and praise God with other Torah folk as we travel.
