Faith and works, two topics relating to justification that some say James and Paul disagree on. Is what Paul says in Romans 3:28 at odds with James 2:24? How can we reconcile what James and Paul say about faith and works?

Almost 19 years ago, my ninth pregnancy resulted in my fifth, last child. I feel so blessed to have had 5 children out of 10 pregnancies! I had 3 miscarriages before my oldest was born. To my knowledge, my children are my mom & dad's only grandchildren. I haven't had communication with my mother or brother for years, so i dont know if he has children. I know i have at least one grandchild i've never met, but have a couple pix of. It's a shame how broken familes are in this era. I pray Yah will heal all relationships before it's too late.
Context is everything when it comes to understanding the scriptures. But what exactly is context? Is it simply reading an entire chapter, or studying related passages? That helps, but a serious contextual study takes into account the historical, linguistic, and cultural context surrounding the text. That's what Frank Houtz and David Jones explain in this thought-provoking conversation.

Moses (Numbers 27:12-14) and Simeon (Luke 2:25) both lived to see the dawn of Israel's salvation but both also died before seeing the full realization of their greatest hope.
Moses and Zelophehad both died in the wilderness. However, Moses had two sons, but no inheritance in the land since he was a Levite, while Zelophehad did have an inheritance, even though he had no sons. (Numbers 27)
The Bible is full of "already, and not yet" #biblepatterns.
On the current date/timeline discussion. Here is part of why I am not sold on any fixed dates. 5 sources, several different dates. Even taking 2-3 witnesses from these gives yet another set of dates. And this is just from Adam to the birth of Abram
