Parsha #chukat (Numbers 19-22:1) contains two references to extra-biblical books: Book of the Wars of YHWH and an unnamed collection of songs. That doesn't mean that they were divinely inspired works that we should add to our Bibles if they are rediscovered someday, but they would probably add a wealth of historical context to our understanding of Scripture.

There are 5 kinds of international relationships possible with #israel (the nation, not the political entity): Peace, Tolerance, War, Surrender, Annihilation. See Numbers 21.
1) Some nations will bless Israel and prosper.
2) Some will tolerate Israel without being friendly. See Edom and Gibeon.
3) Some could live in peace, but will attack Israel unprovoked. They will lose. See Sihon.
4) Some nations are destined to be dispossessed by Israel. They will run like Amorites of Jazer.
5) Some are destined to be annihilated by Israel. No escape. No survivors. See Og of Bashan.
Last night, I ordered "Java for Dummies". Hopefully, I can learn how to make apps. I studied programming in college in the 90's, before smartphones and apps were a thing. Hopefully, with this book, some of that comes back to me! If you have any app ideas, I will consider them. The app I want to make seems very complex, but Im hoping if I take it a piece at a time, Ill get it done fine. Happy prep day everyone!
