We see a lot of this in doctrinal differences as well. Be careful not to be overwhelmed or caught up in the reactions of others but, test everything to Scripture. Even those we think we can trust and rely on may deceive us if we're not cautious!

So many are susceptible to deception right now and that’s why they can hear scripture about one thing and believe it means the exact opposite. The elect are those who have the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus as their Messiah and are actively pursing walking out all of His instructions that are possible to be walked out today. Even though we look forward to Yeshua’s return, the horror and heartbreak of this world still affects us; but we can overcome them before they have the opportunity to deceive us.
