I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died.
Romans 7:9 ESV
Not as if sin didn’t exist before the written law, but condemnation requires a witness. A clearly expressed commandment becomes the teeth of sin. The first part of the verse is likely from the hypothetical perspective of a man who doesn’t know the commandments. Once he learns what God expects of him, his sin becomes apparent, and he realizes his state of spiritual death.
Shalom!
YAH Willing, Triumph In Truth will host a Shabbat Water-immersion Gathering on 6/21 in Mcloud, OK at 10 AM at:
Wes Watkins Reservoir
2200 S Arena Rd, Mcloud, Ok 74851
Do not pay at the entrance or put money in the Honor Box. Triumph In Truth will settle with the city for the event (not on Shabbat).
Thank you for carefully reading the following information as all the details are important.
Here's a list of things to bring:
* Lawn chair
* Water
* Bible
* Pen and paper
We have water immersion robes to wear over your clothes and appreciate everyone adhering to the following:
* Men wear jeans or other long pants (Men will be immersed in their long pants)
* Women wear a long skirt or dress
* Shoes that can be worn in the water
* A towel
* A change of clothes if you don't want to travel wet. We will have changing tents or restrooms to change in.
Triumph In Truth encourages biblical modesty (Deuteronomy 22:5, 1Corinthians 11:5). We will be publicly praying during our immersions so the ministry has available bandanas for head-coverings for the women (1 Corinthians 11:2-16). If you have your own, that's fine as well. We are returning to the ancient (biblical) paths, so modesty is very important.
As for doctrine, G. Steven Simons does not embrace Greek or western philosophy or quote Roman bishops to determine his understanding of Elohim. He believes what Yeshua said in John 17:3, "And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true Elohim (speaking of the Father), AND Yeshua Messiah (the anointed One) whom You have sent." He believes in Elohim (the Father), the Creator of heaven and earth, and the Son of Elohim (Yeshua), the Mediator between Elohim and men, the man Yeshua Messiah - conceived through the spirit of YAH, born of a virgin, and filled with the FULL measure of the spirit of YAH. He also believes that the Father places His set-apart spirit (breath, wind, ruach) upon and within those who believe in His Son Yeshua and ask to be filled. The spirit of YAH is His breath not another person. At the immersion you will be calling on YAH (the Father) to forgive your sins in the Name of Yeshua Messiah as in the book of Acts. Brother Steven will not be immersing in any other names. We water-immerse children who can understand the message who are 12 years of age and older.
Please come a little early to give time to meet up in the parking area. Eat before you come. There will be no meal at the gathering.
Be sure to fill up your gas tank before the weekly Shabbat. We don't purchase anything (fuel) on the Sabbath. Be sure to get familiar with the journey you will be taking before Shabbat so that your trip is with ease and peace. For assistance in directions, or questions you might have, email us at info@TriumphInTruth.global..
PLEASE CONFIRM YOU INTEND TO ATTEND. Let us know how many are in your party and how many will be water-immersed. Be in prayer and prepare your heart for a powerful, transformative experience. We look forward to meeting you in person.

Triumph In Truth
PLEASE CONFIRM YOU ARE ATTENDING!
I posted a couple of songs already. I've been working on the rest. After many plays, I am happy with how this turned out.
These are songs made from the perspectives of different people during the events of the first part of Genesis. Each song tries to imagine the thoughts and emotions at the time.
There are songs from the perspective of YHWH, Adam, Cain, Noah, and Abram.
The genre is a blend of acoustic, rock, and post-hardcore. I went with the later as most of what I've listened to in the genre is very emotionally charged, and that is the feel I wanted to have with the album. Expect some screams, but most are there for good reason. Adam's, especially, hits me every time.
I hope you enjoy!

FEELINGS OF SHAME
When should believers feel shame and when shouldn’t they?
We should feel shame as a result of guilt over sin:
Although Adam and his wife were both naked, neither of them felt any shame. -- Genesis 2:25. Have you ever noticed how little children can run naked through a room full of strangers without embarrassment? They are not aware of their nakedness, just as Adam and Eve were not embarrassed in their innocence. But after Adam and Eve sinned, shame and awkwardness followed, creating barriers between themselves and YHVH. We often experience these same barriers in marriage. Ideally a husband and wife have no barriers, feeling no embarrassment in exposing themselves to each other or to YHVH. But, like Adam and Eve -- 3:7, we put on fig leaves [barriers] because we have areas, we don’t want our spouse or YHVH, to know about. Then we hide, just as Adam and Eve hid from YHVH. In marriage, lack of spiritual, emotional and intellectual intimacy usually precedes a breakdown of physical intimacy. In the same way, when we fail to expose our secret thoughts to YHVH, we break our lines of communication with Him.
We should never be ashamed of our allegiance to Yeshua Moshiach:
If a person is ashamed of Me and My Message, I, the Son of Man, will be ashamed of that person when I return in My glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels. -- Luke 9:26. Luke’s Greek audience would have found it difficult to understand a god who could die, just as Yeshua’ Jewish audience would have been perplexed by a Messiah who would let Himself be captured. Both would be ashamed of Yeshua if they did not look past His death to His glorious resurrection and second coming. Then they would see Yeshua not as a loser, but as Adonai of the universe, who through His death brought salvation to all people.
We should never be ashamed of the Gospel – it is a source of Power:
I am not ashamed of this Good News about Moshiach. It is the power of YHVH at work, saving everyone who believes; Jews first and also Gentiles. -- Romans 1:16. Paul was not ashamed because his message was the gospel of Moshiach, the Good News. It was a message of salvation, it had life-changing power and it was for everyone. When you are tempted to be ashamed, remember what the Good News is all about. If you focus on YHVH and on what YHVH is doing in the world rather than on your own inadequacy, you won’t be ashamed or embarrassed.
What do I do with my recurring feelings of shame?
Psalm 32:5: -- Finally, I confessed all my sins to You and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, ‘I will confess my rebellion to Adonai.’ And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Acts 13:39: -- Everyone who believes in Him is freed from all guilt and declared right with YHVH. Romans 3:24: -- YHVH in His gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through our Moshiach Yeshua, who has freed us by mercy. 2 Corinthians 5:17: -- What this means is that those who become believers become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun! Isaiah 54:4: -- Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. The shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood will be remembered no more. There is shame over past sin, which we refuse to give over to YHVH. There is also shame that comes from being victimized by someone else. For example, many women feel shame when they have been raped because they participated in a sinful act, even though it was not their fault. Shame is unreleased guilt. YHVH wants to release us from our shame and restore us to a pure and holy relationship with Himself.
What can help me to live today without shame and avoid shameful feelings in the future?
Psalm 25:2-3: -- I trust in you, my Elohiym! Do not let me be disgraced or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat. No one who trusts in You will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others. Psalm 34:5: -- Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. Isaiah 49:23: -- Those who wait for Me will never be put to shame. Psalm 119:31: -- I cling to Your decrees. Adonai, don’t let me be put to shame! Psalm 119:39, 80: -- Help me abandon my shameful ways; Your Torah is all I want in life. …May I be blameless in keeping Your Principles; then I will never have to be ashamed. 1 John 2:28: -- Continue to live in fellowship with Moshiach so that when He returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from Him in shame. Only YHVH’s loving presence can remove our feelings of shame, so draw near to YHVH not away from Him.
Of what should I not be ashamed?
Mark 8:38: -- If a person is ashamed of Me and My message in these adulterous and sinful days, I, the Son of Man, will be ashamed of that person when I return in the glory of My Father with the holy angels. Romans 1:16: -- I am not ashamed of this Good News about Moshiach. It is the Power of YHVH at work, saving everyone who believes; Jews first and also Gentiles. 2 Timothy 1:8: -- You must never be ashamed to tell others about our Adonai. 1 Peter 4:16: -- It is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise YHVH for the privilege of being called by His Wonderful Name! 2 Timothy 1:12: -- That is why I am suffering here in prison. But I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust and I am sure that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until the day of His return. We must never be ashamed of the only One who can forgive us and take away our shame.
