Joyful Passover Triumph In Truth family! Pesach (Passover) begins sundown 04/22/24 - sundown 04/23/24.

Its been a busy preparation day. Even now, as I try to prepare spiritually for tonight's Passover, there are many distractions. I pray everyone has a safe, happy observance. By now, some may have already observed around the world. May Yah bless you for remembering the histories of Passover, and may He guide you in future observances, including tonight. Shalom and happy Passover!

Pesach Sameach! May the love of Messiah Yeshua, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, be with you all as we remember His death and resurrection together during this most holy Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Is the day of Early Firstfruits always on the 16th of the month of Nisan or always on the day after the weekly Sabbath after #passover (i.e. always a Sunday)? There are good arguments both ways. If you celebrate the Biblical feasts, my recommendation is to do it the way your community does it.

The 2024 Solar Eclipse in the US came and went. Many people said things were going to happen and didn't. Many people are still defending that stuff happened, just that we can't see it, or "it set things in motion".

What I don't think people realize is this is breaking at least two of the 10 Commandments. Do not take YHWH's Name in vain, and don't bear false witness.

Everyone looks at taking YHWH's Name in vain as using "God" or "Lord" or "Jesus" or whatever pronunciation as a swear word. However, when we look at Scripture and when YHWH speaks of His Name, we see it means much more than that. It is His Character, who He is. When we go around say "God told me to say this" and if it wasn't actually YHWH telling us, we are misrepresenting Him...taking His Name in vain.

As in the example in the comic, if someone came to you and said Jesus/Yeshua was coming back tomorrow and it didn't happen, that person misrepresented YHWH. They are taking something the Bible says only YHWH knows and stating it as if they had been told.

Another example of this I see a lot, and the inspiration behind the comic, is taking things under that are made under false pretenses and sharing, but when confronted about it, shrugging it off as no harm was done. The most recent I have seen is with the Lord's Prayer. There is an image going around Facebook that has a "content restricted" flag on it. All the image has is some sheep and the verses associated. This sent a spiral in the Bible-believing community.

In one day, I watched the share count on that post. When I first saw it, it was at 20k shares. When the day was done, it was at 80k shares. I haven't gone back to check again, but I am sure it is much higher than that now.

What was the problem with all this sharing? Because of the content restricted flag, most of the people that were sharing were doing so "because Facebook is trying to censor the Bible." But, Facebook wasn't. I have tons of Scripture posted to my wall every day by other people. Those content flags are done by users like you and me. Someone clicked on it and flagged it. It went to FB's computers which then put the restriction on it.

This isn't the first time I've seen something like this either. I've seen other people do the same thing. Why? Because it gets visibility to their page. That page had it's highest engagement rate that day because of all the sharing. That engagement will then show FB's algorithms that this is a page that people want to see and push it in front of other people. It is a way to go viral by harping on people's emotions.

False witnessing. Making it seem like FB is the big bad guy (because they are an easy target) and playing to a crowd that is willing to share the content. And when I went and looked through some of the posts and others, like myself, who saw it for what is was pointed out that this wasn't some big conspiracy on FB's part, the response I saw over and over was just like Teenage Church in this comic "Oh well, I shared the Gospel and that's all that matters".

We've got to be better. We have to test everything we are sharing, on-line and off-line (1 Thessalonians 5:21) We can't go around lying (sharing false information) to people, even if it is "for the sake of the Kingdom" and expect that we are doing the Kingdom a good service. They are going to see the lie and THAT is what they will focus on. Not on the Word.
