Deuteronomy 22:1-4 says that you should return a stray animal to its owner if possible, but the principle extends to other areas of life. If you have found a truth that your brother needs to know, don't keep silent. If your brother has a need, you should act. Don't feign ignorance. If his children have strayed, you need to make sure he knows and help him if you can. Don't encourage rebellion in a brother's family. Encourage unity, respect, obedience. #torah

Healing Promise:
[If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of YHVH, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith with no doubting, for he who doubts are like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.] -- James 1:5-6.
Healing Prayer:
Heavenly Abba, I ask You for Your wisdom to help me find complete freedom from all double-mindedness in my life. Thank You for giving so liberally to me when I ask in faith without doubting. I do so now Abba, fully realizing that my double-mindedness has prevented me from receiving from Your hands. Whenever I am double-minded, I become unstable in all my ways. Forgive me for thinking at variance with Your Word Abba and for any other form of double-mindedness. I thank You for Your promise to forgive me and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness, when I confess my sins to You. I believe this truth of Your Word Abba and I receive Your forgiveness and cleansing now as I pray. I realize that double-mindedness is having two opinions about the same subject and shifting back and forth from one opinion to the other. It does me no good to trust Your Word and then to turn around and doubt Your Word. Therefore Abba, I purpose in my heart and set my face like a flint to trust You and Your Word. I know that You are not a man and You do not lie, indeed it is impossible for You to lie. My Abba and my YHVH, Your way is perfect and Your Word is tried. Thank You for being a Buckler to me as I place my trust in You. I realize that double-mindedness stems from doubt, so I will pray and believe Your Word, because I know faith comes by hearing and hearing by Your Word. Abba, I re-affirm that Your Word will never return unto You void, but it will accomplish that which You please and it will always prosper in the things for which You sent it. Thank You my mighty Adonai and YHVH. How grateful I am that You have made it possible for me to be of good courage as You strengthen my heart. I hope in You my Adonai and my YHVH. You are on my side. Therefore, I will not fear anything. Rather, I will place my faith and hope in You Abba and I will not cast my confidence away by being double-minded any longer. Thank You mighty Name of Yeshua, amen.
The infamous stoning of a rebellious son (Deuteronomy 21:18-21) isn't what you've been told. Consider these factors...
1) Parents must be united against the son
2) They must have attempted consistent discipline
3) Son must be a glutton & a drunkard
4) He must be stubborn, rebellious, & disobedient
5) There must be a public trial
This law might only apply during a brief period between boyhood and manhood. Besides that, how often would all of these conditions be met, especially 1 and 2? Almost never.

In my experience, after coming to the knowledge and putting into practice all the items we have covered so far, people then feel the need to start telling everyone about it. What I am pointing out in the comic is something that I see way too often though: Telling people they are wrong "out of love". Looking back, I was probably even guilty of doing this at first as well.
I am sure everyone reading this knows of someone or has run into someone like this. If not, you might want to reevaluate yourself as you might be that person. Yes, we need to share truth. And coming into the knowledge of truth that has been not taught behind the pulpit is exciting, but there is a right way of sharing it. Going up to all your friends and family and telling them they are following a false god, participating in satanic rituals, or being sheep just following what they are told to do is NOT the right way. However, I see many, many people that go down this route.
We are called to love one another. Jesus said that it is how people will know we are His disciples. If I see someone headed toward a cliff edge and not realizing it, is it loving for me to insult them while I am warning them about the edge, or for me to just tell and show them the edge? On their end, which would they receive and listen to?
I see some people use the example of Jesus calling the Pharisees a brood of vipers as justification for their actions. This wasn't Jesus insulting people that didn't know any better. This was Jesus calling out people who He pointed out were hypocrites. They KNEW what they were supposed to be doing, yet were not doing it. Most of the cases I see where people are being abrasive to fellow believers to "show them the truth" is them going to someone who DOESN'T know about these things.
My last note that I have at the bottom of the sign in the comic is the one that seems to go right along with this brashness: pride. They found this knowledge and now are "experts" on it and no one can tell them otherwise. They've lost what got them to this point in their walk to begin with: humility.
If you find yourself correcting others more than you are sharing your testimony, please, please take a step back and reevaluate. As a friend of mine says: Witness daily, use words when necessary.

A bad beginning to a family makes for a bad ending as well. A parallelism across #shoftim & #kitetzei (Deuteronomy 20-21) reveals a secret to future domestic happiness.
