And as He came near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you only knew even today, the matters for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. “Because days shall come upon you when your enemies shall build a rampart around you, and surround you and press you on all sides, “and dash you to the ground, and your children within you. And they shall not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.

My views on Israel and the actors in the region have had very little influence from the mainstream news. I haven't watched them for years.

What I have done is follow other believers and ministries in the land give first hand accounts of the situation there over the years. And I'm telling you, I had no idea how little the majority of the followers of Messiah knew about the region. But that hasn't kept them from opening their mouth wide to speak arrogant/ignorant words.

Yes, I believe that "walking a mile in someone's moccassons" before giving your oppinion is soooo important. We can easily say something about a situation out of arrogance if we don't have all the facts.

Proverbs says is so well, 18:7: "The mouth of a fool is what destroys him, and his lips are a trap to his soul."

I research because I know my opinion doesn’t matter. The state of Israel is a Babylonian state and the poorest of the tribes of Dan, Benjamin, and Yehudah were left to till the land which is now called Palestine. Scattered across the world to follow in their own traditions. Tel Abib is Tel Aviv the Babylonian city spoken about in Scripture during the exile process.

Sometimes I'm shocked when I realize that people have not been following events in Israel as closely as I have over the years. I'm not professing to be an expert mind you, but even I know that there is no moral equivilant to Israel and Hamas.

And even if you subscribe that Israel deserves this because they haven't accepted Messiah as a nation (something that would make every other nation on the planet just as guilty) do you really believe that spreading the good news of Messiah would be made easier in Israel with Islamist in charge?

They are worlds apart! Israelite mothers bring their children up to value life as compared to the Islamist mothers who bring their children up to die with "honour" by killing a Jew.

How can we condone rejecting the Jews if it was by a Jew that we are saved?

If Yeshua only came for the Jews then it shows their importance. He will again come for the Jews and bring Ephraim back into the fold which aligns our importance to that of the Jews.

We always have to remember that it was our ancestors who first rejected Father and was taken out of the promissed land. It is by grace alone that we have receptive hearts to first come back to Father.

They will once again come back to Father, just give it time and don't reject them.

Headship is key.
There is only one leader. "No man can serve two masters", and there is no such thing as being the master of your master.
Guess what happens when you try to create this impossible shape in reality?
You break something. ?

Yes, and what’s equally important is leading in godliness. Any man can “be the boss”, but without leading in the way that our Father leads us, the marriage can fail all the same.

Prayer -- Day 14

Receiving Elohiym’s Blessings

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”. (Matthew 7:7)

One reason we may not get answers to our prayers is that we ask, but do not really expect to receive. We are expert askers, but un-practiced receivers. This verse tells us to ask and then immediately conceive of ourselves as receiving. For example, to be free from fear, ask Lord to free you. Then believe that He has immediately done so. The minute you express your faith by sincerely asking Him for a blessing and believe your prayer is answered, your prayer is answered.

OK, here is my conundrum. When I ask for something small then I am certain that I will receive it in due time.

BUT when it is something larger then, in my view, the size of the thing I am trusting for determines whether I will receive it or not. It is almost like I am not fully trusting that Father will want it for me.

Father is not my personal genie and everyhing down to my last heart beat is up to Him. So how can I know that I am "trusting" for something within His will and will therefore receive it?

I am always reminded of Hezekiah who asked for healing which wasn't in Fathers perfect will, but Father still gave it to him and then his son was a ruin for the nation...
