For I bear the Jews witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
Romans 10:2
Like so many Christians who love a God and Messiah whom they barely even know. They refuse to learn God’s commandments because they believe the Spirit will lead them into all truth, and when the Spirit continually leads them back to the truth of Torah, they continually silence him because they have already decided that the Spirit is antithetical to the Word.
A zeal for God isn't enough if it doesn't include obedience to his actual commands, which are an extension of his character, as opposed to what we wish his commands had been, based on a faulty idea of who he is.
For I bear the Jews witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
Romans 10:2
Even today, the rabbis spend their lives studying Torah, but only through the lenses of man-made traditions that continue to blind them to the truth. They sincerely want to know YHWH, but fail for this blindness.
Christians portray the Messiah as a lawless anti-Messiah, and since the Jewish people are strongly discouraged and sometimes even forbidden from reading the New Testament for themselves, they believe this lie and so are still unable to recognize him. Like Joseph, his true identity is hidden behind a Gentile façade. Some day, also like Joseph, Yeshua will open their eyes. They will believe and repent, and then they will be restored to God’s grace and to their full inheritance.
There’s an interesting prophecy from Obadiah that is becoming relevant in our day:
"The exiles of Jerusalem, who are in Sepharad, will possess the cities of the Negev."
Obadiah 1:20b
Sepharad is the Hebrew name for Spain, and the origin of the name for Sephardic Jews who trace their ancestry to Spain and Portugal. Many of those Jewish families have returned to Israel already, which makes this prophecy relevant, but there are others still in the Diaspora – many of whom have forgotten their Jewish heritage. Revis Daggett and others like her are working to change that! In this concluding part of our conversation, Revis shares her thoughts on how Hidden Jews and other “Hidden Hebrews” might be identified through cultural elements, and what this means for God’s plans to redeem all Israel and the nations.
Israel is invincible, of course, thanks to the Covenant of our redeeming God. However, there are ways the people of the Covenant have sabotaged themselves through the ages. That’s what Barry and David talk about in, “No Curse Against Israel.” What’s the answer? Remember who our God is, and who we are in Him, as we hear in the music of Laura Metzing and Lenny & Varda.

Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for my fellow Jews is that they may be saved.
Romans 10:1
If eternal salvation is predetermined without input or influence from men, prayers for anyone’s salvation are useless. Clearly Paul didn’t believe the salvation of individual Jews to be unconditional, limited, and irresistible. He believed that it was possible for a reprobate to be regenerated.
Historians?!? What do we do with them?
I have been raised that only what is in Scripture is testament of what we should believe in as even #science gets #manipulated and the further back in history we go the more it is a guessing game.
This is very true as not all history has been documented in the Bible and most of what is written in the Bible is no longer evident. Sometimes we can take a guess as to the location of an event (think of the rock which was split when Moses hit it), but we don't know for sure and science and history will prove it false as an actual event.
Then we get historians, which in some instances we use as proof of our beliefs and in other cases, meh...
Currently I am really trying to look at history from a different perspective to get a better understanding of Scripture.
What I have come to learn is that history is always written by the winner and that all conquerors were good; well at least in how his-story tells it.
All wars have been won by the "good guys". What a marvel of history. 🤯
So what do we make of #historians that tell of history that is not mainstream? Do we blatantly ignore them or do we take heed of their tellings even if it goes against what the mainstream says?
As an example of this, I found a good summary of events around 66AD documented on https://biblicalblueprints.com..../Sermons/New%20Testa
Also, why do we believe that we have all the facts living 2000 years after an event? There are cases where people living now don't even know what certain commonly available implements were used for during the gold rush; which was just a few hundred years ago.

A party will have a platform and as soon as they get voted in will change to be more in line with the "opposition's" platform and policies. The first 2 years are big change and then the final 2 is more to get to a position where they will be voted in again so they try to pamper to all "wants".
It is truly controlled opposition where the end result is that the same bigger plan is in play. The voting and parties just give us a sense of control...
