I am busy working on a new eCommerce/shop for TTN and need some creative assistance for the new logo. I am thinking along the lines of something simple that both shows the Torah theme and a shopping cart.
AliExpress has a very sleek icon as do Amazon.
Here is a very simple mockup of my thoughts, but I need a more creative mind than mine to assist with the design...
Are you able to help or do you know someone who can??? **)
On this date in history, 11/15/1775: The Battle of Kemp's Landing, Virginia. #otd #tdih #americanrevolution http://www.revwartalk.com/Batt....les-1775/11-15-1775-
Deuteronomy 4;5—6, “See, I have taught you statutes and ordinances just as the LORD my God has commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land that you are about to enter and possess. Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding in the sight of the peoples, who will hear of all these statutes and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.” The word nation in this context is not a geographical county it is a people group and includes anyone who will follow the Creator’s instructions.
Thought for Today: Tuesday November 15:
May you have time today to pause, be still, and to dream with Elohiym. What does He have for you today and the days ahead? May you move the clutter out of the way and make room for Yeshua to change your life and establish you in His purposes for you. May the constant flurried activity be replaced by memories of how YHVH has come through for you and absolute clarity about the things He has for you in the future. Always remember: He is the Greatest Treasure of all!
How is the beginning of everyone's week going so far? I have been very busy and spent all of my day at work, operating a metal break. I have started a new job as a handyman and it is a blessing.
As for my relationship with Yah, I feel him so close, I don't know how to describe it. It is amazing to serve a God like him.
Shalom and may Yahweh bless each and every day for everyone.
The BIGGEST argument against keeping the Sabbath for the modern day Christian is "interpretation". I put it in quotes because we've come to the point that the Word can say something in black and white and there is someone out there that will take it to mean something totally different. I touched on that a little bit in the last T4C comic, but I want to dive a little deeper.
When I take part in discussions or listen to debates or anything where there are two opposing views on what the Scripture says on something, inevitably one of the parties will end the conversation with "well, that's your interpretation". Let's take the verse I am alluding to in the comic: Isaiah 56:6.
"Also the foreigners who join themselves to Yahweh to serve him, and to love Yahweh’s name, to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant" (WEB)
I've heard people from Church say that there is no where in the Bible that says Gentiles are supposed to keep the Sabbath. Who do you think the foreigners are in this passage? The word Gentile in Scripture refers to non-Israelites. Foreigners are those not from Israel. So, if the Sabbath is "just for the Jews", why are foreigners keeping it to serve and love God?
We've been taught to read the Bible in a certain way. A way that we can read something plain as day as the above verse and take no regard of it. Or even when presented a verse like the above have some "answer" for it.
- "Oh, that's old covenant." Even though this particular verse is part of the book that Jesus quoted to show he was bringing those prophecies about.
- "Well, we meet on 'The Lord's Day' now." Taking one instance in Acts and ignoring all the other instances in Acts where the apostles kept Sabbath.
- "Well, Colossians says not to judge about a Sabbath day." Disregarding the fact that Paul is talking about not letting the Gnostics judge you for KEEPING the Sabbath. He wasn't making a case to ignore or change it.
Go and read and when you hear a little voice in your head from former teachings telling you "oh, this means that", ignore it! Go and reread that part, plainly. If it says something that is different from what you have learned, study more! Pray about it! But don't just write it off as something its not.
