Deuteronomy 7;5, “Instead, this is what you are to do to them: tear down their altars, smash their sacred pillars, cut down their Asherah poles, and burn their idols in the fire.” The image of this is the physical destruction of idols, but those things can be replaced. Now consider the destruction of their traditions and legends and replacing them with what the Creator has to offer…
