"Don't covet your neighbor's house" probably doesn't refer to the building he lives in, but to his family, holdings, servants, etc. It could have read "Don't covet your neighbor's Name." But also don't covet your neighbor's property! Don't covet anything that belongs to another. If you admire it, get one of your own. It's OK to want something like what your neighbor has, just don't think about taking his. God respects private property. "Life, Liberty, and Property" was a much better summation of God's natural law than "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness".

It's good to have people you can go to when something is confusing. I want to use Scripture, prayer, history, study tools, logic, and common sense to find the truth of what the Bible says, regardless of how we feel about it or what we were taught.

You don't need a PhD in Biblical Studies or graduate from seminary to understand the Bible. You just need some humility, an aversion to sensationalism, and a focus on Jesus (aka Yeshua)!
