The Gospel was preached in the wilderness.
What was it?
“For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them (“all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses” Hebrews 3:16); but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.” ~ Hebrews 4:2
What was preached?
Moses tells us in the retelling of the events at Mt. Sinai,
“And you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire to the heart of the heavens – darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.
“And יהוה spoke to you out of the midst of the fire. You heard a voice of words, but saw no form, you only heard a voice.
“And He made known to you His covenant which He commanded you to do, the Ten Words, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.” ~ Deuteronomy 4:11-13
The Word of יהוה spoke the 10 Commandments and said “IF you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.”
“All that Yahuah has spoken we will do.” ~Exodus 19:5,6,8
They accepted the good news!
Did it profit them? No
Having NO FAITH, they rejected to HEAR Yahuah
--themselves-- thus the "IF" - "THEN" agreement was broken. Yah couldn't write His law on their heart....sadly, it was going on stone.
His 1st set of stones....which were a shadow of greater to come. Just as they ended up BROKEN, so too did our Messiah, The Prophet of Deuteronomy 18:15. His body was broken for us (1 Corinthians 11:24).
“...foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.” ~ Galatians 3:8,9
As we can see not all those who are called Israel, are Israel….but those who hear by faith having put on Messiah (Galatians 3:26-29) are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Yah always had a faithful remnant who obeyed His voice and walked in faith. This is how the gospel message was preached in the wilderness, as a seed that sprouted to life in a remnant of His people and in time The Seed (Genesis 3:15) being the Word of Yah (Lk 8:11) became flesh (Isaiah 9:6; Luke 2:11).
The Word had to become flesh... to offer His blood as the atonement for the REJECTION of The Covenant from His voice.

The Romans 8 LLV135 for 2022 recording points out how you can know the mind of the flesh when it speaks within you or from a pulpit.
The Romans 4 LLV134 for 2022 recording includes a short elucidation of Paul's reasoning process: that IF Yah's promises to Abraham are waiting for a people whom the Law will declare righteous, AS that is never going to happen, THEREFORE God would have effectively made a promise that He would not have to keep. But BECAUSE God keeps His promises, THEREFORE His promise to Abraham must be fulfilled with people whom the Law would not declare righteous, BUT who still can be declared righteous and become righteous through faith in Yeshua's Announcement and His atoning blood and life-giving Spirit.

The Hebrew for 2022 recordings demonstrate the Grenache tonal reading method for the Hebrew text which brings out the meaningful divisions of verses, according to semantic meaning of the cantillation marks found in the Masoretic text.
Thought for Today: Shabbat January 15
Be still in Elohim’s presence, even though there are countless tasks clamour for your attention this day ahead. There is nothing more important today than to spend some time with Him. While you wait in His Presence, He does His best work in you; transforming you by the renewing of your heart and mind. If you lack these times with Him, you may plunge headlong into the wrong activities, missing the richness of What He has planned for you. But DO NOT seek primarily what He can give you. Remember that He, the Giver, are infinitely greater than any gift He might impart to you. Though he delight in blessing His children, He is deeply grieved when His blessings become idols in their hearts. Anything can be an idol if it distracts you from Him as your First Love. When He is the ultimate Desire of your heart, you are safe from the danger of idolatry. As you wait in His Presence, enjoy the greatest Gift of all: Moshiach in you, the Hope of Glory!
