When we look at the prophets of old, their ominous messages were almost always coupled with "repent" as a mechanism for people to be saved. The Gospels amplified this theme immensely. Yeshua warned of an impending doom while giving people the information necessary to obtain salvation, both physical (leave Jerusalem when it is surrounded) and eternal (Yeshua is the bread of life). False prophets say "it's over" with vague references to a people being in Yahweh's graces. That's the recipe for cult behavior as it gives the false prophet the power of defining who's saved and who isn't to those who believe him.
#readmethebiblegarth now includes a new recording of Exodus 1-38 in Hebrew with translation, and in the Lawful Literal Version, here: https://youtube.com/playlist?l....ist=PLvpqSEOjm625MyT
The Hebrew for 2022 recordings demonstrate the Grenache tonal reading method for the Hebrew text which brings out the meaningful divisions of verses, according to semantic meaning of the cantillation marks found in the Masoretic text.

Thought for Today: Thursday January 13:
Seek Elohim’s Face and you will find more than you have ever dreamed possible. Allow Him to displace worry at the centre of your being. He is like a supersaturated cloud, showering Peace into the pool of your mind. His Nature is to bless. Your nature is to receive with thanksgiving. This is a true fit, designed before the foundation of the world. Glorify Him today by receiving His Blessings gratefully. Make Elohim the goal of all your searching. When you seek Him, you will find Him and you will be satisfied. When lesser goals capture your attention, He will fade into the background of your life. He is still there, watching and waiting, but you will function as if you were alone. Actually His Light shines on every situation you will ever face. Therefore, live radiantly by expanding your focus to include Him in all your moments. Let nothing dampen your search for Him.
If we aren't willing to give up everything and pick up our cross to follow Him in full obedience, then why did our Savior suffer and die? The Father is not looking for wishy-washy, lukewarm looky-loos who want to keep some compartment of their life for themselves. We must surrender every piece of ourselves. If you think the Father approves of your sin because you have some measure of worldy success or comfort, then you don't know the Bible. You may seem blessed, but if you're walking in sin, it's sin, and those so-called blessings are no excuse to stay in the sin. And for the rest of us who think we are shiny and cleaned up, but snub our noses at others, He sees our pride and He hates it. Now is the time to get rid of the sin and pride and extend to others the grace He has given us. The cross was not an excuse to sin or think too highly of ourselves and our works. Most of us, including myself, fall into both of these groups from time to time. Passover is right around the corner. We must clean up our hearts, get rid of the leaven, and get ready with our oil to watch. He's a good, good Father who called you by His name because you are precious and bought with a price. Therefore, glorify Him in all you do. Show the world we are His disciples by the way we love one another. All in or all out. Choose.
