Food is generally a good investment, and a good cushion to supplent a loss of a job, bad weather, etc. (gotta eat either way). Perhaps more so now. Something with a shelf life. A big garden may also be a good investment soon, both for the skills and resources. Not to mention the freshness.
Between Hungary banning grain exports, Russia's grain, fertilizer and fuel, and the recent strike on fertilizer transports set to pretty much kill most fertilizer supply in North America unless they come to resolution soon, mixed in with the other supply chain issues, it might not hurt to have the ability to supplement. At the very least for the sake of your wallet.
Just my thoughts.
This is where we are.
"No type of legal investigation would be permitted or any type of penalty be applied to anyone involved in leaving a baby to die."
"The ACLJ associate counsel also cautioned since the bill's language is not clearly defined, the measure "could prevent any investigations into the death of infants at least seven days AFTER their birth, and may extend to infants as old as four weeks!""

Thought for Today: Thursday March 24:
Grow strong in the Light of YHVH’s Presence. Your weakness does not repel Him. On the contrary, it attracts His Power, which is always available to flow into a yielded heart. Do not condemn yourself for your constant need of help. Instead, come to YHVH with your gaping neediness and let the Light of His Love fill you. A yielded heart does not whine or rebel when the going gets tough. It musters the courage to thank YHVH even during hard times. Yielding yourself to His Will is ultimately an act of trust. Remember, in quietness and trust is your strength.
Shalom Shalom!
Let the words from your mouth not be perverted or filled with evil.
Our mouths were created to praise Yahveh, encourage another, and speak truth.
Psalm 19:14; 120:2; 141:3;
Proverbs 12:22
Perverred speech occurs when we use our gift of speech for evil purposes.
Perverted speech such as cursing, gossiping, using foul language, coarse joking, and lying are the seeds of evil.
Proverbs 10:18; 12:22; 16:27;
Ephesians 5:4
Ephesians 4:29
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Colossians 4:6
Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person
Matthew 15:11
Yeshua indicates that perversion is a matter of the heart:
“What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
YHVH also hates the perversion of justice, especially when it victimizes widows and orphans (Exodus 22:22; Deuteronomy 27:19; Isaiah 1:23).
YHVH is perfectly just and commands human beings to model that justice.
Proverbs 11:1
YHVH detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.
When we choose to seek our own interests at the expense of the rights of others, we have perverted justice.
Some examples of perverted justice are the taking and offering of bribes (Proverbs 17:23), oppressing the poor (Amos 5:12), killing the innocent (Exodus 23:7), and bearing false witness (Exodus 23:1; Proverbs 19:5).
YHVH loves justice, and He is a God of order. He desires His children to actively defend those who are being oppressed (Isaiah 1:17; Micah 6:8).
May the words from your mouth be used each day to give praises and to Glorify YHVH with thanksgiving.
Be blessed and stay blessed.?
