Those in positions of authority have a responsibility to uphold public morality, to set an example through religious observance and upright behavior, and to intercede with God on behalf of his people.
The people have a responsibility to aid and cooperate with him.
Ezekiel 45:16-17
It shall be the prince's duty to...provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to make atonement on behalf of the house of Israel.
Ezekiel 45:17
Grain, peace, burnt, sin, and trespass offerings all provide atonement (covering), but they act in different ways and for different purposes. None of them atone for intentional, rebellious sin. There's only one Prince who can offer a sacrifice for that: #yeshua

Shabbat shalom, y'all! I know its early for the us, but i need to relax and celebrate having made it through another week. Im sure many of you do, too. I am so grateful to Yah for my life! I cant let satan overshadow the abundance of blessings in my life. We got 3/10" of rain today. The daffodils are loving it, despite the below freezing nights. I have 3 so far with a fourth poking out. There are leaves to others. If i remember correctly, i had an extra bulb when i planted them last year, so i think i should have at least 6 plants. This is the most green my thumb has been yet! Normally, things dont sprout, or sprout without maturing into anything. Too bad daffodils arent edible, but thats why i picked them: deer! After the sabbatical year is over, i plan to try thyme in a large plot, with sunflowers, sunchokes, and millet in the center. Ill probably have to net the millet, but hopefully the thyme keeps the deer away. I have the perfect garden spot. Im determined to grow some kind of food there! Things to look forward to! Spring is my second favorite season. Fall is my fav, with all the maples changing. Hope i left you with a happy picture in your mind! Shalom!
Shabbat shalom to the nation of Yashar'el and the nation of Yahudah His remnant under our priest Yahusha Messiah.
Our Malkitseḏeq Priest. My King is righteousness.
14For it is perfectly clear that our Master arose from Yehuḏah, a tribe about which Mosheh never spoke of concerning priesthood,
15and this is clearer still, if another priest arises in the likeness of Malkitseḏeq,
16who has become, not according to the Torah of fleshly command, but according to the power of an endless life,
17for He does witness, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Malkitseḏeq.”
Hebrews 7
Psalm 110:4 יהוה has sworn and does not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Malkitseḏeq.”
I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.
Psalm 138:2
The Temple and the Levitical service represented God's love and faithfulness in David's mind. Much of Christianity maligns the Temple as a symbol of oppression and hopelessness, but that just makes them false accusers of God.
