The Septuagint (LXX) is the Tanakh translated from Hebrew to Greek about 250 years before Yeshua. It was almost certainly the bible of the synagogues in the world in the first century.
The Masoretic Text is the Hebrew Bible and dates to about 900 AD. It's the source for the Old Testament for almost every printed English bible in existence.
BOTH of these sources are very valuable for study and they agree with each other almost all the time. If folks are trying to make you pick one of these over the other, you need to not listen to them. That's a false choice. Put in the work and study to show yourself approved.
We had some strange doctrines about Yeshua and Yahweh at Sukkot. Friends, if your doctrines depend on special translations or verses that must be "interpreted", start over. Here's the scoop on who Yeshua is as presented in the New Testament.

YHWH by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens; by his knowledge the deeps broke open, and the clouds drop down the dew.
Proverbs 3:19-20
Breaking up the depths and the formation of dew are opposite extremes in two ways: One is extremely violent and comes from beneath the earth. The other is so gentle that it gradually appears as if from nowhere, although it actually comes from the air. One brings death, while the other brings life. See 1 Samuel 2:6 and the words of Hannah: YHWH kills and brings to life. He brings down to Sheol and raises up.
Last year, I put in a lot of time, study and effort preparing this Bible presentation relative to the unholy day coming up at the end of this month. Brothers and sisters, please widely share. I believe you will find that the Word of God and other historical realities prohibit participation, and we should be letting those we love know this:

Solomon wrote "To everything there is a season a time for every purpose under heaven". This applies in war and peace, in business and marketing, and also in evangelism. See Joshua 6:8-10. God's plan unfolds in his own time. He could have brought Jericho down in an instant, but he had a greater plan that Joshua and the Israelites didn't know.
