Nomustard (Fire Cider)
This is not a cooking recipe as such, but a recipe for a cure-all for cold and flu-like symptoms.
The name "Nomustard" came from a very personal experience. My daughter has been feeling the effect of winter over the past few months. Ashlyn and I would then tell her to go have some of the "yellow stuff" in the jar which should boost her system with one dosage. She protestingly drank it as it has a strong taste, but she obediently went ahead.
After having it for 3 days in a row on two separate occasions, she kept saying that it actually makes her feel worse and upsets her stomach. We really thought that we should take her to a doctor as something more serious is happening.
Well, the last time she took it she turned the bottle around and saw that the label was brand new on the bottle and it didn't look like a reused bottle. She read the label, "English Mustard". She came to us and asked whether we put the "concoction" in a new bottle. That is when we realized that she had finished a new bottle of English mustard over the last 3 months which was causing her upset stomach and not helping her flu symptoms. 🥴
So, the bottle is now labelled "Nomustard" and she loves the "new" flavour of our "medicine". 🤣
Ingredients
150g peeled garlic
150g peeled ginger
2 Tbsp powdered Turmeric
200ml Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
200g Manuka Honey
Instructions
Blend all the ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.
Transfer the mixture to a sterilized container and store it in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to 6 months.
Directions to Use
Shake well before each use.
Take 1 heaped teaspoon at the first sign of a cold, and then morning and evening until you feel better. If taken early enough, the cold should not progress after the first dosage.
For easier consumption, dissolve it in 50ml of milk. Be cautious not to use too much milk, as it may require consuming more liquid to ingest it all.

I don't believe in "Bible roulette" where you flip open the Bible, stick your finger on a page and that is then the verse you believe Father is giving you for the day.
I know that the odds are slim, but you might just land on the verse that says "And Judas went out and hung himself"... 😣
What I do believe in, and this is true in my own life, is that I read the Bible systematically and during my prayer I ask Father to show me in my reading what He wants to show me for this day.
Lo and behold, today's reading started on John 16 where Yeshua is telling His disciples that He is going back to Father and will then send the Comforter.
16:8 "And He, when He comes, will convict the world about sin, and about righteousness, and about judgment:"
My current understanding is that:
1. Before this time Father gave people dream, visions, sent angels and spoke to them directly.
2. We then have a period (which we are living in now) where the Spirit leads us.
3. That then gets followed in the last days where people have dreams again and see visions in addition to the Spirit leading us.
Firstly, does "guiding" mean "speaking"? So, should we be expecting a still small voice speaking to us or just our consciousness being more sensitive?
If we are expecting a voice, how do we distinguish between the Spirit speaking to us and our own consciousness?

Thought for Today: Tuesday February 13
I think the reason we sometimes have the false sense that Elohiym is so far away is because that is where we have put Him. We have kept Him at a distance, and then when we are in need and call on Him in prayer, we wonder where He is. He is exactly where we left Him.

Sh’moth 25:31-26:14
“And you shall make a lampstand of clean gold – the lampstand is made of beaten work. Its base and its shaft, its cups, its ornamental knobs and blossoms are from it, and six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side; three cups made like almond flowers on one branch, with ornamental knob and blossom, and three cups made like almond flowers on the other branch, with ornamental knob and blossom – so for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.
“And on the lampstand itself are four cups made like almond flowers, with ornamental knob and blossom, and a knob under the first two branches of the same, and a knob under the second two branches of the same, and a knob under the third two branches of the same, according to the six branches coming out of the lampstand.
“Their knobs and their branches are of the same – all of it one beaten work of clean gold.
“And you shall make seven lamps for it, and they shall mount its lamps so that they give light in front of it.
“And its snuffers and their trays are of clean gold.
“It is made of a talent of clean gold, with all these utensils.
“So see, and do according to the pattern which was shown to you on the mountain.
“And make the Dwelling Place with ten curtains of fine woven linen and blue and purple and scarlet material. Make them, with keruḇim, the work of a skilled workman.
“The length of each curtain is twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits, all the curtains having one measure.
“Five curtains are joined to each other, and five curtains are joined to each other.
“And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the end curtain on one set, and do the same on the edge of the end curtain of the second set.
“Make fifty loops in the one curtain and make fifty loops on the edge of the end curtain of the second set, the loops being opposite to each other.
“And you shall make fifty hooks of gold, and shall join the curtains together with the hooks, and the Dwelling Place shall be one.
“And you shall make curtains of goats’ hair, for a tent over the Dwelling Place, make eleven curtains.
“The length of each curtain is thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits, one measure to the eleven curtains.
“And you shall join the five curtains by themselves, and the six curtains by themselves, and you shall double over the six curtains at the front of the Tent.
“And you shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain of the second set.
“And you shall make fifty bronze hooks, and put the hooks into the loops, and join the tent together, and it shall be one.
“And the overlapping part of the rest of the curtains of the Tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the Dwelling Place.
“And a cubit on one side and a cubit on the other side, of what remains of the length of the curtains of the Tent, is to hang over the sides of the Dwelling Place, on this side and on that side, to cover it.
“And you shall make a covering of ram skins dyed red for the Tent, and a covering of fine leather above that.

Tehillah 82 – Day 3 (Yom Shlishy)
Elohim stands in the congregation of Ěl; He judges in the midst of the elohim.
How long would you judge perversely, And show partiality to the wrong? Selah.
Give judgment to the poor and fatherless, Do right to the afflicted and needy.
Rescue the poor and needy; Deliver them from the hand of the wrong.
They do not know, nor do they understand, They walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
I, I said, “You are elohim, And all of you are sons of the Most High.
“But as men you die, And fall as one of the heads.”
Arise, O Elohim, judge the earth, For You shall possess all the nations.
