Healing Prayer:
Abba YHVH, fill me with all the joy and peace that come from believing so that I will abound in hope through the power of Ruach HaKodesh. Thank You for the comfort You have given to me in spite of the heart disease I’ve experienced. Your Word truly does quicken me. Abba, I trust in You with all my heart, without leaning to my own understanding. In all my ways I will acknowledge You and I ask You to direct my paths. Thank You for my heart. I ask You to heal it and to repair any damage that it may have sustained. You are my strength my Adonai and my YHVH and I know You will make me to walk in high places. Thank You my Abba. As I wait upon You, I claim Your healing promise to all those who wait upon You. I believe You are healing me of heart disease and I believe that I receive Your healing power now as I pray. Abba, You are so good to me. You are my Stronghold in the day of trouble and I know that You know me. I also know that You are aware of all my needs and are able to meet all of my needs through Yeshua Moshiach. Therefore, I will not let my heart be troubled any longer, I believe in You Abba and in Your willingness to heal me. I am glad and I rejoice in Your mercy, for I know You have heard my prayer and considered my troubles. Strengthen my heart as I wait upon You Abba. You are my strength and my shield. My heart completely trusts in You. Therefore, I know You are helping and healing me. My heart greatly rejoices because You love me and You heal me Abba. You my Adonai are the strength of my heart. Continue to minister Your strength and healing power to me. O Adonai my YHVH, I have cried unto You and I believe You are healing me, for You heal all my diseases. Thank You for Your grace which is at work in my life. In Yeshua Name I pray, amein.
I have never craved fruit. I don’t dislike them, but never craved them.
But recently I discovered I can rid myself of weariness of mind by eating a fruit.
I’ll be at work feeling tired and out of it. And while my body might still be sore, my mind is awakened after eating a banana or something and I have way more pep.
I plan to eat more fruit now.

In the last comic, I spoke about how the Bible explains how we are to love God and love others. There is a ditch we shouldn't fall into with that though: doing things in a checklist, or out of obligation.
Paul speaks a lot about this in his letters. Any time he is speaking about "the letter of the law", this is what he is referencing. God doesn't want us to do His commands as a "get out of hell free card", or "because we HAVE to, to be on His good side". He wants us to do them because we WANT to do them. We WANT to be closer to Him. He wants our hearts.
If we are just doing things out of obligation, there is no heart in it. It has no meaning. Think about you and your parents. Maybe one of the things they asked you to do was to take out the trash. Did you keep an eye on the trash to make sure that it was always taken out when it needed to be? You never complained if you missed an opportunity and if told it needed to be taken out, were quick to do it?
Or did you complain about how you hate having to take out the trash? You always waited until someone told you it needed to be taken out? And when you did take it out, you always had a bad attitude about it?
In both of these instances, you took the trash out, but which is loving? The same applies to God.
If you haven't before, read Isaiah 58. It is God talking about His people and how they think they are doing the things God wants them to do, but their heart isn't in it.
