Tradition says Zebulun was made to be a merchant tribe so they could support the scholarly work of Issachar.

Deuteronomy 33:13-17 hints that the descendants of Joseph (Ephraim & Manasseh) will hold some kind of influence over all nations on earth and will dominate Israel economically. Elsewhere, Scripture says they will dominate numerically also.
