Psalm 100:4 —5, “Come into his city with songs of thanksgiving. Come into his courtyards with songs of praise. Thank him, and praise his name. The Lord is good. His love continues forever.  His loyalty continues from now on.” David continues his call to praise with an invitation. A very short, simple Psalm that expresses our Creator’s never ending love.

Psalm 100:1—3, “ Shout to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with joy. Come before him with singing. Know that the Lord is God.  He made us, and we belong to him.  We are his people, the sheep he tends.” This is David’s call for us to praise, serve and worship our Creator.

Tradition says that Yom Kippur is the anniversary of the creation of the second set of stone tablets given at Sinai and that Shavuot is the anniversary of the first set. I'm not sure that the Biblical narrative actually adds up that way, though.
