But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.
Acts 7:55

How can #yeshua stand at the right hand of God and still be God? How can my arm stretch out to my side and still be me? How can a cypress knee stand beside the cypress and still be the cypress?

He said to them, "You will drink my cup, but to sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
Matthew 20:23

This is one of many verses that plainly say that the Son is subordinate to the Father. I don't have a big problem with the idea of the Trinity (I am more in agreement than not), but I find it hard to believe that the people who came up with the "co-equal" part got it from the Bible.

It's not a Trinity if they're not co-equal, amigo. And they're clearly not.

Jeremiah 10
1Hear the word which יהוה speaks to you, O house of Yisra’ĕl.

2Thus said יהוה, “Do not learn the way of the gentiles,a and do not be awed by the signs of the heavens, for the gentiles are awed by them.b

3“For the prescribed customs of these peoples are worthless
Duetoronomy 12
29“When יהוה your Elohim does cut off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land,

30guard yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire about their mighty ones, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their mighty ones? And let me do so too.’a

31“Do not do so to יהוה your Elohim, for every abomination which יהוה hates they have done to their mighty ones, for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their mighty ones.

32“All the words I am commanding you, guard to do it – do not add to it nor take away from it

Ezekiel 22
26“Her priests have done violence to My teachinga and they profane My set-apart matters. They have not distinguished between the set-apart and profane, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean. And they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned in their midst.

Ezekiel 44
23“And they are to teach My people the difference between the set-apart and the profane, and make them know what is unclean and clean.

I'm not sure what these three verses have in common, or what the point is that you are trying to make. Can you help me to understand?

History as prophecy. Why does Yah portray Himself as having two brides? What is the connection with Jacob? What can we learn from Jacob? How does this inform our understanding of Scripture?

Too often overlooked by those who are quick to dismiss the Old Testament is this verse. “Instead, those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins” Hebrews 10;3. Having just written the law contains shadows of good things to come, the sacrificial system is separated away as it was a reminder that we had violated the covenant. We should be more diligent to discern the will of the Creator so we do not corrupt His word and walk away from that narrow gate.

‘Do not do as they do in the land of Mitsrayim, where you dwelt. And do not do as they do in the land of Kena‛an, where I am bringing you, and do not walk in their laws. ‘Do My right-rulings and guard My laws, to walk in them. I am יהוה your Elohim. ‘And you shall guard My laws and My right-rulings, which a man does and lives by them. I am יהוה.

Thought for Today: Thursday November 24:

Remember, when something in our lives or thoughts makes us anxious, bend down and discuss it with YHVH. Give Him all your prayers and petitions with thanksgiving, saying: [Thank You Yeshua, for this opportunity to trust You more.] Though the lessons of trust that He sends us come wrapped in difficulty, the benefits far outweigh the cost. Well-developed trust will bring us many blessings, not at least which is YHVH’s Peace. He has Promised to keep us in perfect Peace to the extent that we trust in Him. The world has it backwards, teaching that peace is the result of having enough money, possessions, insurance, and security systems. YHVH’s Peace however, is such an all-encompassing gift, that it is independent of all circumstances. Though we may lose everything else, if we gain YHVH’s Peace, we are rich indeed.
