Lamentations 5;21, “Restore us to Yourself, O LORD, so we may return; renew our days as of old” Or more literally; Return us to you LORD (יהוה) so we may return, repair us to our former days. Jeremiah laments that the people have left the way of our Creator and desires for the people to be repaired so they can know what it was like when they were following the Creator’s instructions. But there is no going back, we can only learn from our mistakes, repent and move forward.

Thought for Today: Tuesday October 11:

May YHVH Himself wrap you up in His new mercies today! Where you have known angst, may He give you awe-inspiring wonder. Where you have known heartbreak, may He bring healing, deliverance and a supernatural breakthrough. May He help you to blow the dust off your dreams and lift them up as a possibility once again. With Elohiym all things are possible. May you learn to pray from that beautiful truth. Be blessed and be lifted up!

Why cant americans speak american english to other americans? Why do 75-90% of the messianic torah observers want to speak in heblish (hebrew blended with English) rather than speaking in a way that their audience can follow without being confused? if you cant or wont speak to people in their native tongue, why are you bothering to try to speak to them at all?

That works be for many reasons, but I agree it’s much easier to convey future believer’s with words easier to underhand. The only exception I take is with English pagan words, then I’d rather run to words used in The original language of The Scriptures.

Personally, I want to know/understand how Yeshua taught, rather than how English has bastardized the original Hebrew teaching. What modern translations say is a sad comparison to what the Hebrew words actually translate to. Having been lied to about Scripture my whole life, I don't want to keep wasting my time, energy and faith on a cheap, synthetic version of His Truth!

Does “interfaith” mean what we think it means? Maybe not. That’s the question addressed in this concluding part of our interview with Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz of Israel365 News. He begins with an explanation of why genuine Jewish-Christian dialogue isn’t exactly a priority of those who call for interfaith understanding, and why they may actually oppose such a dialogue. This is another element presented in Eliyahu’s novel, The Master of Return and the Eleventh Light.

It may be that the real issue is one of identity. Does genuine Jewish-Christian dialogue proceed from an understanding of a shared identity of belief and trust in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? If so, then we share a heritage that goes back to Abraham, and that Abraham’s God calls us to remember. That’s the topic Barry Phillips and David Jones address in their midrash, “This Day Stones,” and that Melody Joy Cloud and Jimmie Black explore in music.
