Exodus 13:4, “Today, in the month of Abib, you are leaving.” Just about every year there is the same discussion about the barley and when it is at the correct stage of ripeness. Sadly there are some who have never seen barley grow who enter the conversation and stir controversy. I would encourage those who want to enter the discussion to be more proactive. Don’t simply watch a video and think you have become an expert. Go find someone growing barley and ask if they would be willing to show you the different stages of how the grain ripens. Don’t be afraid to get your hands a little dirty while gaining some real life experience.
It is easy to get distracted or demotivated in this world we live in. But if you should feel down in any way today -- make this poem your own:
Don’t Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Listen more to YHVH today and less to your own doubts and fears. He is leading you along the way He designed just for you. It may feel like a lonely way – humanly speaking, but He goes before you, alongside you, so that you are never alone. He is revealing to you the path of life day by day, moment by moment and step by step. Do what He commanded His followers --- “Follow Him”!

If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offers an animal from the herd, male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before YHWH.
Leviticus 3:1
A peace offering can be any unblemished animal from the bovine, caprine, or ovine categories. Since it is intended to be a shared feast, none of the sacrificial birds would be appropriate.
There is no special provision for the poor. If you couldn't afford a peace offering, you just didn't bring one.
