A new Edition of the Lawful Literal Version of the Bible is out now
…a work in progress with over 66,000 improvements so far!

The whole text of LLV331 Selah! Edition:

As far as the translator is aware, every name is now spelled with the aim of accurately reflecting the correct, historical pronunciations of these historical names according to modern phonetic English-alphabet transcription, e.g. ‘y’ not ‘j’ for the sound at the start of ‘yellow’, ‘w’ not ‘v’ for the sound at the start of ‘water’. The transcriptions in the LLV are aimed to be better than those of any English translation of Scripture made so far, because they consider not only the pointings of the medieval Hebrew texts but also the older transcriptions in Greek and Latin letters.

Please distribute freely, but only by sharing the link to this doc:
It’s free! Download the LLV/ABSV from here:
https://bit.ly/LLVBible

Please send suggestions for correction/improvement in private messages to Garth Grenache.

A list of all the improvements and the research and thinking behind them can be found at the same, above link.

Thought for Today: Thursday July 25

Whoever you may be tempted to reject today, don't reject Yeshua, our Moshiach! He is the only One Who is absolutely perfect -- the only One Who can guarantee you a home in heaven. He is the only One Who can forgive you your sins.

Here is another place where Paul seems to contradict Yeshua and James:

Faith and works, two topics relating to justification that some say James and Paul disagree on. Is what Paul says in Romans 3:28 at odds with James 2:24? How can we reconcile what James and Paul say about faith and works?

FAITH AND WORKS DO JAMES AND PAUL DISAGREE ON JUSTIFICATION

Do James and Paul disagree on justification when it comes to faith and works?

This is always an interesting topic. Where does faith and works meet.

You must have faith to do works and the works without faith is dead.

My personal view is that the one without the other is meaningless.

Saying (having faith) and showing (doing the good works) are synonymous...

- How can you say that you love someone without showing them love?

- Can someone experience love and not realize it as they aren't told that they are loved? - This is an interesting one and I can hear a man saying: "I provide a safe house, money, food and care. Isn't my actions enough? Why should I have to say that I love you?"

Almost 19 years ago, my ninth pregnancy resulted in my fifth, last child. I feel so blessed to have had 5 children out of 10 pregnancies! I had 3 miscarriages before my oldest was born. To my knowledge, my children are my mom & dad's only grandchildren. I haven't had communication with my mother or brother for years, so i dont know if he has children. I know i have at least one grandchild i've never met, but have a couple pix of. It's a shame how broken familes are in this era. I pray Yah will heal all relationships before it's too late.

Wow, that is sad to hear. Having 2 children ourselves, our biggest worry is that something major happens in our relationships and one of them reject us. It is definitely not in view, but life does happen...

All that parents can do is to raise our children to the best of our ability and to pray that Father will carry us.

Unfortunately, not everyone came to faith of Yeshua before or while their children were young and could build on that foundation; which is when the relationship's foundations are built.

Enjoy your time with those that are close to you and reach out to those that aren't. Not always easy as your hand may get "bitten", but it might just be the breakthrough to heal the relationship.

Context is everything when it comes to understanding the scriptures. But what exactly is context? Is it simply reading an entire chapter, or studying related passages? That helps, but a serious contextual study takes into account the historical, linguistic, and cultural context surrounding the text. That's what Frank Houtz and David Jones explain in this thought-provoking conversation.

Moses (Numbers 27:12-14) and Simeon (Luke 2:25) both lived to see the dawn of Israel's salvation but both also died before seeing the full realization of their greatest hope.

Moses and Zelophehad both died in the wilderness. However, Moses had two sons, but no inheritance in the land since he was a Levite, while Zelophehad did have an inheritance, even though he had no sons. (Numbers 27)

The Bible is full of "already, and not yet" #biblepatterns.
