Hey fun fact about me. Despite my repeated use of the word “Y’all” I was born in California.

Spent only about a year in Missouri. Apparently it was long enough to take “Y’all” with me for the rest of my life. Lol.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer is often attributed to Sun Tzu but was a line written for the movie The Godfather part II. The Bible tells us to pray for our enemies (Matthew 5:44) and in proverbs 5:21, “If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.” Before we can do either we should be able to identify who is our enemy and why do they choose to be our enemy.

Thought for Today: Tuesday July 23

If I could only have one wish for fellow believers today, it would be that all of us would return to the Word of YHVH, that we would realize that His Word has all the answers. The Bible is the ultimate authority, the final resting place of our cares, worries, griefs, tragedies, sorrows and our surprises. It is the final answer to our questions and our searches.
