Christians and Jewish people today assume the feast of unleavened bread is to remember the time in the wilderness, but that may not be the real reason for it. Remember that the feasts are a rehearsal of good things to come and the people who were first told to observe it were going through the event as it happened so there was no reason for them to remember it. 1 Corinthians 5:8, “Therefore let us keep the feast, not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth.”

More than any building, we are supposed to be the house that is called by God's name, yet we insist on filling our minds, hearts, and bodies with detestable things that drive away his presence. At least child sacrifice had a noble(ish) purpose in mind. The ancients killed their children to buy rain or military victory. Today we kill our children for convenience and comfort.

Frequently "civilization" is just the veneer we put on to hide our barbarism.

Trust and thankfulness will get you safely through this day. Trust protects you from worrying and obsessing. Thankfulness keeps you from criticizing and complaining. By keeping your focus on YHVH Elohiym, is the same as trusting Him. This is a free choice that you have to make many times daily. The more you trust YHVH, the easier it becomes. Thought patterns of trust become etched into your brain.
