"Love your neighbor as yourself" does not have the words "except when" or "only if" behind them.

Do you add them?

Hmmm, very true.

One thing that I have been trying to get a Scriptural definition of is "neighbour". From a Western perspective we can easily assume it is the person living near me, but is that the original definition?

I have also pondered this one and have been conflicted as to whether is it of those dwelling in Israel only or others as well. Scripture does refer to different categories of people in Israel. Which of those fall under neighbor I do not yet know.

Our point is that if we have to think about it that much....are we making excuses for not showing others the love Messiah gives freely instead;
picking and choosing who we extend it to? Are we adding the "except when" by researching and asking these exact questions in order to rule people out? Yeshua loved without condoning sin. He offered freedom from what He saw wrong and also saw their potential. Who are we to do it differently? Would we love the prostitute or find a reason not to? How about the John/buyer? The drug dealer who sells to kids? The fisherman or tax collector? Or are they not our neighbor? What was our example from Yeshua? Not trying to convict but to make our TO brothers and sisters think. Where were you once and aren't most of us glad someone loved us as they loved themselves

And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.
Luke 7:23

#yeshua said many things that would be startling or threatening to an identity tied to sinful behavior or attitudes. Our natural inclination is to react against such a confrontation, often violently.

“For Adonai YHWH does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets. The lion has roared; who will not fear? Adonai YHWH has spoken; who can but prophesy?”
#amos 3:7-8 #shabbat

God told Israel to remember numerous events from the past, but there's only one specific commandment to REMEMBER to do something in the future: "Remember the #sabbath Day to keep it holy." The weekly Sabbath is at the very heart of his relationship with his people. If God gives his prophets advanced warning of every really significant thing he's going to do, don't you think he would have said something about canceling the Sabbath?

I am busy working on a new eCommerce/shop for TTN and need some creative assistance for the new logo. I am thinking along the lines of something simple that both shows the Torah theme and a shopping cart.

AliExpress has a very sleek icon as do Amazon.

Here is a very simple mockup of my thoughts, but I need a more creative mind than mine to assist with the design...

Are you able to help or do you know someone who can??? **)

In that hour he healed many people of diseases and plagues and evil spirits, and on many who were blind he bestowed sight.
Luke 7:21

Time spans in Scripture are often expressed using idioms that shouldn't be interpreted literally. "In that day", "In that hour", "three days and three nights", etc., are sometimes meant literally, but are more often intended to be understood as approximations. If this verse had been written today in modern English, it might say "Immediately afterward..." or "At about that same time..."
