What does it mean to have a #sabbath to YHWH? Is it for his benefit? Is it a Sabbath from his perspective? No, it's a Sabbath in his honor. If you want to honor God, keep the Sabbath on the seventh day as he instructed. What God has made holy, let no man defile.

The Council of Laodicea in about 363 AD said "No others shall sing in the Church, save only the canonical singers, who go up into the ambo and sing from a book." They also said "It is not permitted to hold love feasts, as they are called, in the Lord's Houses, or Churches, nor to eat and to spread couches in the house of God."
LOL. Ok. Sorry, they completely lost me at Canon 15.
So when they said, "Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath...", I feel pretty safe in ignoring them.
Generosity is a prominent characteristic of God's favored people. Consider Abraham, Sarah, Lot, Rebekah, Jacob...
When Eliezer arrived at Laban's home in Haran, Laban recognized that the man was wealthy and welcomed him into his house, but didn't do anything for him. Eliezer had to care for his own camels and men.
Contrast Ephrom (who sold the cave to Abraham), Laban, and Rebekah. Ephrom feigned generosity in order to assimilate Abraham. Laban feigned generosity in order to get some reward from Eliezer and as long as it didn't cost him anything. Rebekah, on the other hand, was generous with no expectation of reward.

In Genesis 24, Abraham sent his trusted servant, Eliezer, to find a bride for Isaac. Eliezer, who knew the heart of Abraham and of YHWH, asked God for a sign: "When I ask her for a drink of water, she will also offer to water my camels." Rebekah did exactly that in spectacular fashion, and she didn't stop there! This story reveals three important character traits of Rebekah, traits that God wants to see in ALL of his people.

I’ve started a 5 gallon bucket of “water glassing” eggs. Several friends have done it successfully so I decided to go for it. Freezing eggs last year was a bad idea. :-(

In Cana, Yeshua's mom Mary went up to Him and said that the wine is finished. She did not know IF/OR Yeshua would help. He answered: Woman, what does that have to do with Me? Yet, Mary was persistent and said: It is time -- Thus, she was full of confidence, she believed and put all her trust in Yeshua --- This is the same with us as believers today, we must learn not to look at our problems but must involve Yeshua in everything. We must have the same confidence, trust and faith that all will be well, once we leave that obstacle at His Feet. Bear in mind that we will still be tempted, we will still have satan's involvement to deter us from our faith. But remember this -- a thief will never break into an empty house; he will always break in where there are valuable items. Meaning that if you are not filled with the Spirit and you do not belief, your house is empty. When you do have Yeshua as head of your house (life), filled with the guidance of Ruach HaKodesh, it is most likely that you will be tempted and the adversary will try to steal your happiness, your peace, your love and baptise you with hate, anger, envy etc. Stay strong, pray, study your Bible, pray, communicate with other believers, pray, spread the Good News and pray! Love you all in Yeshua!
