In the tent of meeting, outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the LORD. It shall be a statute forever to be observed throughout their generations by the people of Israel.
#exodus 27:21
God wanted Aaron's sons to serve in the Tabernacle. Not his daughters, but his sons. Once again, God doesn't care what anyone thinks about the reality of sex differences. God's order is patriarchal and always has been. #patriarchy
The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked will be put out.
Proverbs 13:9 ESV
"Rejoices" is a poetic way to say that it shines brightly, like the dancing flame of a candle.
Or (light) vs nir (lamp). This seems to imply that the wicked never really shined very brightly to begin with. For the light of the righteous, see Revelation 21:23. For the lamp of the wicked, see Revelation 2:6.

Are believers asked to defend our Creator or are we asked to be His representative? The answer is found in Exodus 19:5 — 6, “Now if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, you will be My treasured possession out of all the nations—for the whole earth is Mine. And unto Me you shall be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you are to speak to the Israelites.” While we often think of a priest as someone who is a church leader or for theJewish people a Rabbi, the context of this is a nation of representatives.
