Really, who would possibly know better the nature of the thing than the Maker of that thing?
And how arrogant would we have to be to tell the One Who invented it, that He changed the nature of it?! Who would know better than He what He has done? And why would He alter the nature of the things He has made? Because we don’t like the order of creation?
If we have an issue with the nature of the creation He has made, we are the ones with a problem.
This is the second time in just about 3 years where I witnessed a tornado headed for us & it turned 90 degrees away, right at the edge of town. It's all Yah's wonderful mercy. Like Lot, He remembers the handful of His faithful in this city of sin and turned His wrath away. The storm chasers were even here this time. I couldnt see the storm coming until I was headed back from the vet. It was ominous looking! I havent seen a storm brew that fast since a derecho in '98. Yah's mercy seems unceasing, but I know there's a limit to His patience as well. Thank you, 'Yahuah, for once again turning away your anger for the sake of the few!
The Common Sense Bible Study crew is picking up at Romans 10:12 in just over an hour. 7 PM CDT at https://CommonSenseBibleStudy.com
Only women undergo the #sotah trial for suspected adultery. If a man "goes aside" it might be sin (fornication), but it's not adultery by how that word is used in Torah. The concept of adultery in Torah is limited to a married woman having relations with someone who is not her husband. The sin in Numbers 5:12 is against the husband because he has a property right in his wife's sexuality. Yeah, yeah...how awful. Don't forget she has a property right in his sexuality too, even if it's of a different nature.
(Yeshua expanded the concept of adultery to a man who divorces his wife unjustly, in part because he has defiled his marriage by treating his wife hatefully, but also, I'm sure, because she would likely need to remarry to avoid poverty and abuse.)

Whatever works is what they should be. I have some about a foot long, so that I cannot miss seeing them, and some about 3-4 inches long for use during work where they would be a hazard if they were any longer. Both are lawful. What is not lawful is to not wear them.
