There can be real conflicts and questions in implementing God's instructions in our daily lives. Sometimes the right thing isn't clear. Don't sweat it. Study the Scriptures carefully, spend time in prayer, and then do the best you can. If you are unable to do what's right in a timely manner, don't beat yourself up, but don't just shrug it off either. Get caught up when you're able.
Numbers 9:6-14

Hey friends. I'm thrilled to announce that my new book is available! It's called "How Jesus Fulfilled the Law: A Pronomian Pocket Guide to Matthew 5:17-20."

What did Jesus mean when he said he came to "fulfill" the Law and Prophets? This book is an in-depth study of Matthew 5:17-20 and what Jesus said about the relevance of the Law of Moses for Christians.

This book is super cheap, so you should buy it and get an extra copy to give to your antinomian uncle. Hope it blesses you! LINK: https://a.co/d/3kPz3VG

Many debate whether the Passover lamb should properly be considered a sacrifice since its blood and flesh aren't put on the altar and it isn't shared with the priest, but the Hebrews in the wilderness still thought of it as a sacrifice, calling it "an offering to YHVH" in Numbers 9:7. In Deuteronomy 16:2, Moses said to "kill the Passover to YHVH" and only at "the place which YHVH shall choose to place his name", i.e. at Jerusalem.

Let the people of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time.
Numbers 9:2

God sets the time for his holy days, not the Pope, not the rabbis, not you. That doesn't mean we should disregard what the rabbis and theologians say about how the Moedim are to be celebrated--there's usually a good reason for their opinions--but they don't have the final say, and, in the end, you have to follow the Scriptures and your conscience.

Levitical service at the Temple has a minimum and maximum age. If you were a Levite man, you couldn't start your service until you were 25 years old, and you had a mandatory retirement age of 50. Why? I don't know.
Numbers 8:24-25

25 years makes sense because in that time period, you would have already been married in raising children and understand the responsibilities and the maturities required for living life. As for the age of 50, perhaps it was to encourage the younger generation to step up and to keep the older generation from becoming entrenched? The older ones teach the younger ones and they do it while they're still have a lot of life and strength left in them?
