Fear is faith in evil. When we fear that something bad will happen, it often becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy because we begin acting as if there is no way to stop it. Real faith in God's promises allays fear and brings life because our actions follow our faith. If we believe that good will come, we begin acting as if good is coming.

The things some believe are contradictions in the Bible may not have been included by the original writers. Critical text scholars have identified many of the additions that have been included after the original work. These additions such as John 6:4 and others cause confusion that leads to poor doctrine. The contradictions belong to us, both through misunderstanding and through adding to what was written.
