Compare the ear/thumb/toe ritual for the priests in Leviticus 8 to that for the leper in Leviticus 14. Why are they the same?

The leper and priest are both anointed on the ear/thumb/toe with blood. They both sit outside the tent for 7 days.

The leper was separated from the people for sin and must be brought near the people before God. The priest was one of the people, but is now being separated for a special purpose.

The leper was set apart in sin. The priest is now set apart in righteousness.

After the ear/thumb/toe atonement, both priest and leper are enabled to take their place in the community.

I never draw this comparison as some chapters divide these instructions. Thanks for that.

I saw a post where someone was saying that the pope says that God hates antivaxers. To love God is to worship money. Vaccines are all about making money. So yeah, God hates antivaxers. Yahuah is the Creator and that is His only Name. As Scripture says a bunch of times. More than can be rejected by opinion.

Hmmm. "To love God is to worship money." Did you mean something else here as this doesn't make sense to me?

Also, did people take vaxinations because they loved money or loved their lives and didn't think hard enough about what they were being "sold" by big pharma to realize that it is actually contrary to what they wanted and was told it was?

Yes, there is money at play in the background and the end goal may be total control, but I do not believe that vaxers did it for the love of money.

You say "So yeah, God hates antivaxers." Shouldn't that be "So God hates vaxers" as you try to associate vaxers as lovers of money?

Women’s Portion for Today: Wednesday March 27

Mothers, teach your children that they can fight with conviction when they are sure of victory, because with our Moshiach and for our Moshiach, the victory is assured! (Prayer: Abba, we place our full trust in You and shall face the future without fear. Hold my family’s hands and lead us in Your Truth, amein)

Join the Common Sense Bible Study community at 7 PM CDT on April 4th for a live conversation with Dr. Dinah Dye about her personal Leaving Egypt experience. Only members of Common Sense Bible Study will be able to participate in this conversation, but membership is free!

Dr. Dye was raised in Ottawa, Canada, in a conservative Jewish home. She attended Hebrew school, celebrated the festivals with her family, and enjoyed summers at an Orthodox Jewish summer camp.

Dinah spent her teen years and early twenties deeply involved in the New Age movement. During those years, she came to the belief that truth would be based on three things: it would be easy to understand, it would be for everyone, and it would be based on love. She met that truth in 1979 in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah.
