When Is Passover | #passover
Exodus 12:12, “On that night I will pass through the land of Egypt and strike down every firstborn male, both man and beast, and I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.” Passover begins the feast of unleavened bread. A time to remember the journey to the mountain and a time to reflect on our own journey as we leave our sins behind us and move forward learning to live as He created us to live.
The number of fallen angels, or not…
The general belief is that a 3rd of the angels rebelled and was thrown from heaven. This belief comes from Rev 12:4:
"And his tail swept and dragged away a third of the stars of heaven and flung them to the earth."
In Rev 12:9 we see that Satan and his angels are thrown from heaven:
"And the great dragon was thrown down, the age-old serpent who is called the devil and Satan, he who continually deceives and seduces the entire inhabited world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him."
Between these two passages is the story of what is believed to describe Yeshua's birth and ascension to heaven. So there is a period between these two events.
Were these fallen angels allowed back into heaven after their initial fall and then finally ejected in v9?
Might the understanding of these stars be incorrect and Satan caused a catastrophic meteor shower in v4?

"a time, and times and half a time"
I am still stuck in Rev 12 as it looks like there is more to unravel than what I initially thought.
For instance, the phrase "a time, times, and half a time" looks like a symbolic expression used in Daniel and Revelation. It represents a period of time, but the exact duration can be somewhat ambiguous and open to interpretation as far as I am concerned.
For instance, where does the teaching come from that "a time, and times and half a time" equates to 1260 days?
I do understand the calculation when saying that one year = time, but where does it state in Scripture that this is the answer or do we just accept it as this is what we were taught?
Could the "time" and "times" be seasons rather than calculable days?

The woman in Rev 12
Who does the woman in the vision represent who bares a male child?
1. Is it Mary and she fled into the wilderness after Yeshua was crucified?
2. Does she represent the Jews as a nation as Yeshua is of the tribe of Judah?
3. Does she represent the followers of Yeshua?
4. Other???
Each of these have a different impact on the vision as that person/group is protected in the wilderness for a time, and times and half a time.
Rev 12:17 says: "So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went off to wage war on the rest of her children, those who keep and obey the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus".
This group sounds like Torah keeping followers of Yeshua.
What are your thoughts on this?

Another issue is that around here, everybody followers the Jewish calendar. If I switched to a different calendar, I would be isolating myself from celebrating the feasts with the others. I don't want to be in that situation.
I also need a calendar where the date are determined ahead of time to schedule with my employer. The sighted moon calendar that Steven Simons uses for example, use very short notice (a few weeks) to determine the dates of the Passover while the Jewish calendar determines the dates of the Passover and other Holy days months in advance.
I wish that we all followed the Jewish calendar because this calendar issue threatens to splinter our movement.
