People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his appetite when he is hungry...
Proverbs 6:30

Stealing food prolongs one man's life and probably doesn't hurt the victim very much. It usually doesn't say much about how the thief feels about the victim. Stealing a wife, on the other hand, is like stealing a man's entire life for momentary pleasure. It shows utter contempt for the victim.
