Thought for Today: Thursday August 04:
Hope is a golden cord connecting you to heaven. This cord helps you to hold your head up high, even when multiple trials are buffeting you. Elohim will never leave your side and He will never let go of your hand. But without the cord of hope, your hand may slump and your feet may shuffle as you journey uphill with Elohim. Hope lifts your perspective from your weary feet to the glorious view you can see from the high road. You are reminded that the road you and YHVH travel together, is ultimately a highway to heaven. When you consider this radiant destination, the roughness or smoothness of the road ahead becomes much less significant. Elohim is training you to hold in your heart a dual focus. His continual Presence and the hope of heaven.

You shall not fear them, for it is YHVH your God who fights for you.

God doesn't expect blind #faith. He makes a point of demonstrating his power and faithfulness and then expects us to exercise faith in his promises based on the name he has already established.
Great... Zombie Pigs. This world never does learn.

And I commanded Joshua at that time, 'Your eyes have seen all that YHWH your God has done to these two kings. So will YHWH do to all the kingdoms into which you are crossing.'

God owns you. He owns your soul and every atom in your body. He has every right to give you life and to take it away again. That goes for every man, woman, and child who has ever lived and ever will. He doesn't need your approval. If God condemns an entire nation to destruction, that's his right and none of your business. He's done it before and he will do it again. As the Creator of everything that is, God makes the rules. He defines right and wrong. If he decrees something, then it is morally right, by definition.
All these were cities fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, besides very many unwalled villages. And we devoted them to destruction, as we did to Sihon the king of Heshbon, devoting to destruction every city, men, women, and children.

Except for Moses, the Hebrews had no experience in siege warfare when they invaded Bashan. Maybe he taught them in the wilderness or maybe God encouraged the pride of the Amorites so they would leave their fortified cities to fight in the open.
I got this message from a contact in Thailand.
Over 70 kids and 50 adults came to our outreach in northern Thailand next to a massive Buddhist temple Saturday. Many received Christ but most importantly we began our process of planting house churches, baptizing them
And helping them to understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. What a huge day! In this part of the world, those are huge numbers to come out to hear about Jesus. The area is very resistant and closed to these things but we are seeing the seeds of revival. Praise God. 21 churches planted. Over 300 former Buddhist coming to Christ. Bible school planting here and our school of missions to send Asians to Asian nations and the Middle East (also part of of Asia) where we will send them after they finish our training. Amazing times we are living in.
