Hear the word of YHWH, you who tremble at his word: "Your brothers who hate you and cast you out for my name's sake have said, 'Let YHWH be glorified, that we may see your joy'; but it is they who shall be put to shame. The sound of an uproar from the city! A sound from the temple! The sound of YHWH, rendering recompense to his enemies!"
#isaiah 66:5-6

Thought for Today: Tuesday February 25
The bible tells us two important truths about our work. First, it acknowledges that work – is work. After Adam and Eve was cast out of the garden, YHVH declared that “by the sweat of your brow you will eat your food” (Genesis 3:19). Secondly, the Bible also teach us that YHVH gave our work to us, and it has dignity and importance in His Eyes. We should view it the same. Whatever your job – no matter how difficult, or enjoyable, or how low or how high your position is – work at it with all your heart, as if you are working for YHVH and not for men.
